Plight / appeal: Lighthouse Children Welfare Home is a foster home run by Mr Steven, a former school bus driver, and Mrs Steven, a trained Child education professional, who gave up their respective jobs to become full-time foster parents to all the children with ages ranging from 4 to 20. They provide shelter for underprivileged children, physically & sexually abused & children from alcoholic & drug families. Due to a fall injury, Mr Steven can no longer has income from this source to support the home and the 2 security and maintenance staff. With the growing number of children seeking protection every year, adhoc support is not enough to ensure the sustainability of their services and continue to improve the quality of their care.
